Terms of Service

1. The service

DigestSEO publishes mcp-geo, an open-source Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for tracking brand visibility in AI search engines. The open-source MCP is distributed under the MIT license and you self-host it on your own infrastructure. A managed hosted version is in active development and will be offered as a paid subscription once it launches; pricing and free-tier limits will be announced on this site at launch. These terms govern your use of the digestseo.com website and the upcoming hosted service.

2. Eligibility

You must own or have authorized access to the brand or domain you track. By tracking a brand, you confirm you have the right to do so.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer or attempt to extract our source code from the hosted service, abuse the service in a way that would breach the terms of any upstream AI engine API we forward to (which we forward to you by reference), use the service to harm third parties, or attempt to access another user's data.

4. Service availability

The service is provided AS-IS without warranty of any kind. We do not offer an uptime SLA. We use reasonable efforts to keep the service available but make no guarantees. Scheduled and unscheduled downtime may occur.

5. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. For the open-source MCP, simply stop running your worker. For the hosted version (once launched), cancel from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate access for users who violate these terms or for any other reason at our discretion, including for non-payment of fees once paid plans are introduced.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DigestSEO, its operator, and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability is capped at the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or EUR 0 if you have not paid us.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be flagged on this page with an updated "last updated" date and, if you are a paid subscriber, by email.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Austria. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Austria.
